How It All Began

Our Story

Veils of Grace was founded by two best friends, united by their Coptic Orthodox faith and a shared vision to uplift brides in Egypt. Through our experiences serving in Egypt, we witnessed firsthand how many women face financial struggles when preparing for marriage, and we felt called to act.

In Egyptian tradition, a wedding cannot move forward unless both families contribute the agreed-upon household necessities — furniture, appliances, and basic items needed to begin a home. For many brides, this expectation creates an overwhelming financial burden. Without these essentials, weddings are delayed, engagements are broken, and dreams are put on hold.

What began as a simple idea to provide practical support has grown into a movement that restores dignity, joy, and blessing to brides on the most important day of their lives. Veils of Grace exists to ensure that no woman is denied her wedding day because of financial hardship, and that every bride can begin her marriage with confidence, love, and hope.
